The outdoor facilities form a rectangular plot in the north-west of the Dock100 business park.

The existing fallow land has not been used in recent years, so that a shrub layer and trees have become established. As part of an inventory, all protected trees were mapped and consideration was given to the preservation of individual trees for the preliminary design planning.

A special feature of the brownfield site is the disposal of 3 decommissioned large oil tanks and the examination of the area for the absence of explosive ordnance from World War II. To the south of the new car park there are already parking spaces for Amazon suppliers. These had to be rearranged in the new concept.
The outdoor facilities will be constructed according to the requirements of barrier-free construction.

The parking lot is located in the groundwater protection zone. Therefore, the infiltration of rainwater is carried out solely via vegetated swales. A water law permit was obtained from the water authority for this rainwater infiltration.
